EP 028: Matti Warren daughter of TV host Keith Warren

 

In this episode of Outdoor Adventures with Jayson, I catch up with Matti Warren. Matti is the daughter of TV personality Keith Warren (https://highroadhunting.com) and an accomplished hunter in her own right with an eye towards keeping the Warren name in the outdoor industry.

Matti is currently a college student at Texas A&M University in College Station. She has been involved in the TV industry her whole life and is planning on being more active in the TV industry in the upcoming years.

We discuss a number of things in this episode, including how Matti developed her love of the outdoors and some things that she has done to hone it. She has attended the Sportsmans All-Weather All-Terrain Marksmanship School (SAAM) at the FTW Ranch (http://ftwsaam.com/saamtraining.aspx?id=prcsn) and she gets to spend time shooting at the family ranch Texas Hidden Springs Ranch (http://www.texashiddenspringsranch.com). Matti talks with me about what she is learning at the ranch regarding deer management from her dad. She mentions that they use Reconyx (http://www.reconyx.com) cameras to see the seer around the ranch.
